iCity – More Than Just Colorful Lights

We heard enough of iPhone and iPad. But what about iCity? Recently on the 26th November 2012, my friends and I went to iCity, Shah Alam again. There is one new place we went which called “Trick and Art Muzium” and here are some photos of it.

Longest Working Career – BCS Information Systems

Yesterday was last day in BCS Information Systems (BCSIS) and this is my longest working career (4 years 3 months and 20 days)! My previous record is only 1 year 8 months. This is an achievement that I am proud of 🙂

Some recent photos:

2012 Annual dinner. My table. Third from the right is Ang Keng Heng who was my previous team leader in Clearing Division. One of his unique strength is his ability to build good relationship with his team and at same time making sure the team is productive. Indeed he is very good team leader who is hard to come by.

Field Soccer

Recently I have been playing 11-A-Side field soccer every Saturday morning from 8AM-10AM in University Malaya (UM) for about two months. It is not easy to find that many people to play 11-A-Side field soccer and not easy to find a nice field also. The satisfaction and experience of playing field soccer is so different from playing futsal. While having fun and enjoy this hobby of mine, it is also a kind of good exercise which I need. To top it up, it is free of charge of well! (Sponsored by people).

My injury looks like gotten better and hopefully I don’t get serious injury in future. Look forward to improve in my skill and to have more great matches ahead. I managed to assist some goals until yesterday I scored my first goal. And only it was my first goal, it was a nice goal as well, a header from a very long range pass. So many blessings from God and I feel so blessed 🙂

Last week my friends and I went to Bank Negara Art Gallery and Malaysia Currency Muzium at Sasana Kijang. It was great. Everything is free, parking and admission fee.

Some photos I took to share to all. Enjoy!

Car Insurance Possible “Hidden” Benefits

Some might know but some might not know this. Some car insurance which you bought does provide you some extra benefits such free car towing service or bring you a new car battery and replace it on the spot. All you need to pay is just the car battery cost (about RM215 for dry car battery) and if you return the damaged car battery to them, you will get extra RM10. discount. I am glad that my Etiqa car insurance has such benefits. This week, I could not start my car because the car battery has spoil. I call Etiqa auto assist and within 40-45 minutes, the mechanic came to my apartment and replace a new dry car battery. I suppose to pay him RM215 for it, but because they accept old spoil car battery for RM10, I only pay him RM205. And if my broke down, I can also car Eqita Auto Assist and they will send someone to tow my car to the nearest mechanic for free of charge as well. So, do check with your car insurance for such services. Otherwise, you might need AAM, which cost you another RM90 per year for car towing service or car battery replacement services. If you don’t have such services, car towing can cause you few hundred just for one trip. By the way, if you pay Etiqa online, you will also get extra 10% discount on top of your NCD (No Claim Discount).
