Personal Plan: Readers Digest Bible

I name it "Readers Digest Bible" because the whole 2 hours session is mainly to read and digest the bible together (about 3-4 people) in a comfortable environment. You know, sometimes doing it together can help to spur/motivate each other direct or indirectly. I plan to make it on every Saturday morning, from 8.30-10.30am. The place will be Hainan Kopitiam, Seri Petaling, because I do find it comfortable, more parking place, plus power adapter is available, free wifi and quite near my house. I might change time and place if my schedule change or I found better place in future.

I also want to make sure that heavy chat/fellowship to be kept minimum because the main objective is to read and digest the bible together. However, sharing and discuss what we learn from our bible reading will be good. Those would like to join me are encouraged to bring their bible tools like bible dictionary, life application study bible if they have, so that we can share these tools with one another. Maybe one or two who got laptop can bring also so that those who wants to do some bible research from the Internet can use it. Basically, the idea is having it at an 'imaginative portable Christian library'. :)

Even if there is no one join me, I will still be there. I want to make this consistently every week for myself, rain or shine, unless something urgent pops up or I got seriously sick. Those who join it, are not expected to be committed but I will commit myself to it as this is my personal plan. I will be starting this Saturday, 30 October 2010.
