Can we pull through July 2010?
Created on Saturday, 19 June 2010After coming back from my long block leave, I got a shocking news. My team lead has resigned and his official last days will be end of this month. He has been a very good team lead to the team. He helped me a lot technically (Java, WebSphere, Struts, DB2, AIX and etc) and also at the business knowledge for the team's scope.
Few months ago, another colleague in this same team has resigned. Now is my team lead. Both of them has been in this team for three years plus, and very well-versed and competent with the system, both technically and business knowledge. I don't think company is planning to hire someone to replace him. So the question is what will happened to us next month when he is not longer around anymore? Can we pull through the months ahead of us? How much can he pass down his scope of work to us within short period of time? This can quite worrying indeed.
